Here is the marketing strategy for the site!
Alright, here is a list of websites where I have placed the website and seen amazing results…

PREPARATION – To prepare for posting forum ads…You should create a few different email accounts. I recommend having about 5. That way you will be able to post to multiple boards and reach a larger, overall market.

Adverting TIP– Short ads get more clicks…However, make sure that your post still possesses some quality or information! Ideally, you’ll post about 1 short (3-4 sentence) paragraph.
–ALSO – Readers love stars and positive ratings! Make sure that you rate your own threads! This draws a massive amount of traffic!!

This website is a gateway to countless other forums…Its important to watch it and use its links to take you to message boards. I STRONGLY recommend that you use this site sooner than later…Yahoo is easy to post on, but this site allows you to diversify your postings…

Use this website to monitor which stock threads are the most popular…There is a portion of this website which talks about which stock is the “most socially active” stock….I highly recommend that you choose one or two of them and post on their boards!

FROM OUR FINDINGS – It is MORE profitable to post on a SUPER busy forum than a slow one. On a super busy forum, your post will be off of the first page within 5-10 minutes…however, that can generate more traffic than hours of slow forums could.
Example – Posting on the Yhoo board, I generated 60 pageviews from one post…On the WNYN board, my post has been on the first page for a few weeks, but still hasn’t really generated many page views!

Another Great Tip!– I always try to post a few quick advertisements before I go to bed…Take about 5-10 minutes and post a few…This is the best time to advertise because your ads stay up on the forum longer, thus getting you more hits.

Honestly, any time is a great time to put your site out there. Whenever you’re bored or have some free time, it can be a good opportunity to advertise Investor’s Update.

You can also post ads on Craigslist…If you post in the San Francisco Business – For Sale section you can get a ton of traffic. Just post that you have a stock website they should check out…

To generate a little traffic, but traffic that lasts for a LONG time, I recommend posting an article about your website on either www.goarticles.com or ezinearticles.com

OUTSOURCING!! – Head over to www.getafreelancer.com and recruit a forum poster to do the work for you! If you shop around, you’ll be able to find somebody to post for you at a very reasonable rate! You could probably find a person to do it for $20-$30 per week.

Best Time Of Day – The best time of day to post Stock Talk is either in the morning or night time. The morning times have HUGE traffic, but your posts will be pushed down within 15 minutes. The night is great because there is still good traffic, however, your psots last over 4-5 hours! On the front page!

IMPORTANT– When you’re advertising on these websites, it is a good idea to watch your click through ratio on Adsense…If you notice that it is absurdly high, you should contact Google and let them know that you may be getting click bombed. This will save your account and your income!
